PHOTOGRAPHY ON PRE-PAID REQUEST
ACTION PHOTOS (Individuals)
Some parents of young athletes enjoy buying photos regularly while others rarely do so. Others buy everything they see and some buy at one event but not at the next. Determining who will buy and who won't is not easy. Many photographers use a "shotgun" approach. They photograph every athlete in sight in the hopes of reaching the "buying" parents. Truth is, less than 15% of the parents of any given team actually buy photos. So photographing all the kids in action on the field or court just doesn't make sense. Besides, it takes a great deal of time away from photographing those kids whose parents truly want to have a memento of their athlete at an event – something they can cherish and look back on in the years to come. What's more, it puts unnecessary wear and tear on our high-end equipment.
To avoid this problem, we ask customers to contact us in advance of the event, or come to our booth at the event and request that we photograph their specific player. A $25 deposit is requirred for this service ($35 for championship games).
For this small fee our photographer(s) will concentrate on photographing your player to the tune of at least 20-30 action shots, often more. Allowing you to have a ,much greater amount to choose from when viewing photos of your player. The total amount of this pre-payment will then be applied to your purchase. And if for some reason you absolutely don't see anything you like, we're happy to refund your money on the spot! The whole advantage to this approach is that we're free to focus (pun intended) on the players of buying customers.
ACTION PHOTOS (Entire team)
Anyone can also request that we take action photos of each player on the team. The cost for this service is $150 (up to 20 players) or $250 (21 to 35 players) and we'll be sure to photography all the players on the team who are in actual play along with sideline shots of the coaches, team in huddle, on the bench, etc. You can expect to receive anywhere from 100-200 images on a CD. Typically a group of parents chips in to purchase the CD for the team. All images are high resolution and will be "cleaned and cropped" then put on a CD. Each team member and coach will receive a copy of this "game" CD. These images can then be printed out very inexpensively at COSTCO, Walgreen's, Walmart, or other similar stores with photo processing services. If a team photo has been taken, it is separate from the CD and must be purchased as an addition (See Team Photos below).
TEAM PHOTOS
We're always happy to take a team photo of your squad, along with the coaches. There is an automatic $25 pre-paid, non-refundable "sitting" fee to do so, whether your team actually buys prints/CD or not. You can then buy team photos (8 x 10- inch only) individually for $25 each or six for $125 or twelve for $225, Additional copies above this are $16 each. Championship team photos and trophy poses are $35 each (see below).
CHAMPIONSHIP GAMES
For championship games the price to photograph an individual player in action is $35 (15-30+ photos) and the price to photograph the entire team is $250 per team for up to 20 players (150-200 photos) and $375 for teams ranging from 21-35 player (150-200 photos). Photos are put on a CD or DVD from which you can make additional copies for the players. You're also free to make prints at your local photo processing store (Costco, Walgreen's, etc.)
If you want us to take a photo of your championship team, the pre-paid, non-refundable sitting fee is $35. Championship team photo are $35 each. Trophy photos (your individual athlete kneeling with the trophy) are also $35 each. All of these will include the name of the event on the photo.
WHEN TO MAKE YOUR REQUEST
This should be done prior to the event or as early as possible at the event so there is no conflict with photographing another plahyer at another gym or venue at the same time your game is going on.
You can place your Pre-Payment Request simply by emailing us at info@azsportshots.com. Please provide the following information:
1. The name and date of your event or tournament.
2. The full name, address, telephone number, and email of the person makng the payment.
3. The shipping address, if different from above.
4. The full name (and jersey number, if applicable) of the athlete to be photographed.
5. The club or school and team name for the athlete.
6. It is also helpful to know if your athlete plays in every game or only a portion of the game and the position(s) they play.
When emailing us be sure to include your telephone number so a member of our staff can call you for your credit card information.
WHERE TO FIND PHOTOS
Action photos can be viewed and selected at the event at our booth via our LCD monitors. Depending on our event schedule, images from most of our events are subsequently uploaded to our website within a week. Here too you can make your image selectons and place your order online. When we are not printing onsite, orders taken at the event are generally filled within 10 days and occasionally a bit longer.
