ARIZONA SPORT SHOTS will be taking both action photos of the regular and championship games played at the U of Arizona Activities Center as well as portrait team and individual photos and again at the Awards ceremonies. We WILL NOT be taking photos at the Bear Down Gym since the majority of those teams rotate to the Activities Center anyway.

Please note that in order for us to obtain action shots of the maximum number of players at the tournament as possible, our photographers will only shoot 1/2 of each game then go to another court and shoot the other half of that game. In addition, we generally avoid photographing the same team twice, even if you are playing against a team that we have not yet photographed. In that case, we’ll concentrate on the team we haven't photographed.

Still, there are things parents and coaches can do to GUARANTEE that we get plenty of action shots of your particular player or your entire team:

GUARANTEEING PHOTOS OF YOUR PLAYER OR TEAM

Our goal is to photograph as many players on a team in action on the court as possible. But since we shoot only 1/2 of each game (*see exception below), we typically get about one or two shots of all or most of the players. In some cases we may miss a few players entirely.

*The exception is for those teams ordering a Game CD. In which case, we photograph the entire game.

How can I guarantee that you take plenty of photographs of my son for me to select from?

If you want to GUARANTEE that we get plenty of shots of your specific player, please visit our viewing station booth in the lobby prior to the start of your game and pay a non-refundable Pre-Payment Fee of $30. This will GUARANTEE that our photographers will devote extra time and attention to getting up to 10 or more shots of your player for you to choose from. In addition, you can apply the full amount of the Pre-Payment Fee toward your purchase of prints or a CD of one or more of the images (see Prices below). Here again, we will only be shooting 1/2 of your game so it will be helpful to know if your player is mostly in during the first or second half. If you have two players on the same or different teams that you want us to photograph, then simply double your Pre-Payment fee. For Championship games, the Pre-Payment fee for individual players is also $30.

Can we also do this for our entire team?

If you want to guarantee that we get numerous photographs of all of your of team's players on the court,you need to purchase a Game CD. Instead of just shooting only half the game, as we usually do, we will shoot your entire game. The price for a Game CD before July 10th is $225 and at after that date it is $249. For Championship games, the Game CD is $299 prior to July 10th and $325 after that date. You will receive a CD with approximately 75-125 or more high-resolution images including shots of your sidelined players, coaches, and support staff.

If our team never plays at the the Activity Center, how can we get a photographer to come to the Bear Down Gym where we are playing and take action photos of our team?

If your team is playing only at the Bear Down Gym your only option will be to Pre-Order a Game CD prior to July 10th by contacting us by phone (1-800 373-4379 toll free or email info@azsportshots.com). See previous questions. In this way you'll be booking our photographer to specifically take action shots of your team at Bear Down Gym. You will receive a CD with approximately 75-125 or more high-resolution images including shots of your sidelined players, coaches, and support staff.

Can we put these photos on MySpace or Facebook or our team website?

Yes, yes, and no. Individual players and parents are free to make copies of the CDs or have prints made at your local drugstore photo processing counter to give as gifts or send to relatives of your players from your team only, not the opposing team. You may also use the photos on your personal website, mySpace or Facebook pages, or email to friends. However, these are copyrighted images and in no case can they be used for any commercial purposes or offered for sale to the opposing team or others. Nor can they be sold or provided free for use to any media source either print or electronic (e.g. local newspaper, magazine, etc.) or on your team or league website, blog, etc. without our written permission. When permission is given, a photo credit must be given and a link to our site must be provide on your website.

When can we expect to receive our CDs and photos?

If you purchased only a CD, you can expect to receive it within a week or so. If you purchased photos, they generally take a week or two. If you ordered both a CD and printed photos, you can expect to receive your CD with your photos.

INDIVIDUAL & TEAM PORTRAITS

As space and time permits, we may be taking portrait shots of teams and individuals. Poses can be both traditional or improvisational, including simulated action. This can be done before or after your game. Check with the lady at our viewing station booth in the lobby. Please have your team in uniform and bring two or more basketballs. See below for prices. The price to take portrait shots of your team or individuals is $50 (non-refundable), the total of which can be applied to the purchase of printed photos or a Photo CD.

Will you be photographing the championship games and will the prices for the photos be the same as the regular games?

Yes, we will be photographing the championship games in their entirety. The action photo prices are the same as for the regular tournament games (see below). Team and individual Awards photos are $30 each.

Will the event name and logo be printed on the photos?

Yes, the text on the photo will indicate that this is a Championship game or Champions. This is an example of the text that will be imprinted on the photos of the championship winners:

In addition, the event logo may also appear on the photos.

Can we also us the Pre-Payment method to guarantee more shots of our child at the Championship games?

Yes, for a $30 you will be guaranteed 7-10 or more action shots of your specific player to select from. Just visit our viewing station booth for quick and easy arrangments prior to the start of your game.

Will you be taking photos of the Awards ceremonies?

We will have our portable studio set up to takes photos of the Championship teams with their medals and trophies. Extra shots of individuals with their award as well as shots with their coach, buddy, or parent(s) are also an option. No Pre-Payment Fee for Awards photos is required. The price of the team and individual Awards photos are $30 each.

If our child's team makes it to the Championship, can we swap out those team and individual championship Awards portraits for any we may have done earlier?

No, otherwise we'd be working twice for one-half the price!
